Each verified hand gives the creator clearer audience evidence for real development conversations. You’ll be able to say you believed in it before anybody else did.

What is I Am A Fan?
I Am A Fan helps fans discover film and series projects, express interest in stories they would watch, and give creators feedback.
Is an account free? What is a Founding Fan?
Creating a fan account and raising your hand are free. Founding Fan is an optional paid membership that supports I Am A Fan; it is not required to express interest in a story.
How do I raise my hand for a story?
Choose “I’d Watch That” on a story. If you submit your email as a guest, your selection stays pending until you follow the story confirmation link in your inbox. This confirms that story selection, not an account or a marketing subscription. A signed-in fan with a verified email can raise a hand through their account.
Does Get Story Updates create an account?
No. Get Story Updates is an email subscription, not an account signup or login. Complete the subscription confirmation when requested to receive updates. You can unsubscribe anytime; subscribing does not select a story.
What happens when I choose Join Free?
Join Free creates an account with your email, a public screen name, and a password. Follow the account verification instructions to verify your email. Creating an account does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.
Does paying for membership increase my votes or XP?
No. Paid membership does not increase votes or XP. XP comes from qualifying free activity such as confirmed hand raises, story feedback, and submitting projects, not purchases or email subscriptions.
Does confirmed interest guarantee that a project will be made?
No. Confirmed interest gives creators audience evidence for development conversations. It is not a guarantee of funding, production, or release.
How can a creator submit a project?
Choose Submit Project and sign in to your account. You can develop a private draft, upload source materials, and submit a saved revision for review. Submitting does not automatically publish the project.
